So my door open indicator was on for weeks. The dealer said it was the latch in the passenger door. Didn't make sense to me but I did replace it. about a week before I replace the latch the light had gone off by itself. So I change it anyway and it was good for a few months now its back on along with the service tire pressure monitor light and traction control malfunction light on occasion. Could all this be caused by a bad body control monitor? I'm loosing my mind! Lol

 

Don't jump to conclusions. Check your other 4 door jamb switches especially on the rear gate. TPMS sensors may be nearing the end of their life or just need the relearn as described in you Owners Manual. Check your battery and your connections to make sure they are clean and tight. Last time the dealer told me it was a bad latch in the front passenger door. They said all the pin switches were fine lol

 

Why do so many want to blame the bcm? Door switches trigger the door open indicator! Check your air pressures(set them ALL at 35psi), low air pressure in a tire could trigger the the traction control.
