Listen Dr Tom, I really dont care what you do with your batteries put them in the microwave for all I care. When the ambient temperature is 60 out side and there is no load THE BATTERY SHOULDN'T BE HOT. Just like the 9 volt sitting in a drawer shouldn't be hot. Quit worrying about you f***ing amp meters and use some common sense. Just in case someone that has no knowledge of what to do in this situation, BATTERIES SHOULD NOT GET HOT BY THEMESELVES. IF THE BATTERY BOX IS NO LONGER SQUARE, GET A NEW ONE.

 

I sure hope when I'm retired that I have better things to do than annoy people on a forum and/or debate with members in every thread.
