Default Battery died twice

Before I contact the dealer and they tell me it's normal, I wanted to ask here. This has happened on 2 consecutive weekends. The first time it occurred, I was washing the truck and listening to a cd. It was probably about 1 1/2 hours. When I went to start it the battery was dead. Last weekend I washed it again, but I didn't play the cd or radio. But when drying it I had all of the doors open as I have done before. In fact every time, but this time the battery went dead again. I had the doors open only for about an hour. After I got it jumped it ran and started normally. The voltage gauge is around 14. My concern is that it's going to get real cold here in Pittsburgh in a few months and I would hate to get stranded. P.S. It's an 06 H2 and I got it at the end of June. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad battery. Get the dealership to order you an Optima Yellow Top [sm=smiley20.gif]

I had 2 batteries die in 2 years[:@]

Both covered under warranty, but a HASTLE!! So the last time I had my rig at my stereo shop doing audio/video work, I had them install an Optima Yellow Top. WORKS GREAT, No problems

I got Circuit City to order me one that was 900CCA for $150. They said they'd match AutoZone but they didn't know that price was for a smaller Yellow Top
