Default basic shift ****

I want to change the stock shift **** to a custom one but don't want to **** anything up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I've tried just turning it but it seems like it's a lot different than the shift ***** of yesteryear. Any advice?

Default

Welcome.

I MOVED this to the H3 section, because like my post in the FAQ section asking people not to post there, just because you thought of it, does NOT make it an FAQ.

The automatics are held on with a single bolt in the front, the manual stick fastened under the boot with a set screw. How the manual **** comes off the stick, I never looked.

Default dont be shiftless!

when you lift the console you can see the shift lock solenoid. you can disable it and then can shift anytime,no key no brake,no battery,no nothing. nice if you're stuck with no key, batt etc.
down 'n dirty like the good old dayz

Default shift **** replacement

Thanks for the help. I really just wanted to change the **** itself. I will save this though.
