Hey... so all the various four wheel drive modes seem to be doing what they are supposed to, but going into and out of 4-low and can hear, and feel a pretty good thump coming from the transfer case. is this normal? 2005 H2

 

Yes that is normal...... I can hear and feel it on my GMC truck as well as on my H2.

 

Yes it is normal. It is very audible and can be felt as well. I usually play around with the various modes when I go out shooting just to get the transfer case components moving around.
