Backup Swiched Wire Under Dash?

All,
OK, I know I'm beating this thing to death, but I searched and I searched some more and have not found anything on the reverse switched wire under the dash for those backup cam monitors. I want themonitor to turn on only when I put it into reverse.
Any one know which wire (if at all) is under the dash that switches the +12v when in reverse? I think I can find +12 switched on ACC or running. I know I can find ground

The cam in the back goes to the hitch wires and I think is the Light Green wire (switched reverse) and White wire (ground).

Hook it up to yourreverse light direct. It will only turn on the cam when you put it in reverse or if you can find the wiring diagram and follow it to the under dash portion of the vehicle and hook it up that way . I baught the repair manual for the H3 Hummer and i find it helped me alot .It's 2 books about 2" thick , but very helpful.

Yes, the reverse wire is light green located in the drivers kick panel. Hope this helps.

I am not positive, but this may help you in your search. There is a wire that runs from your dash through the drivers side a-pillar to the rear view mirror that sends a 12V signal when the truck is put into reverse. This is used to turn off the autodimming feature of the rear view mirror when you go in reverse. I am not 100%, but I think it is a brown wire. Hope this helps.

I found this skizmatoid on the web of the backup wiring of the (I think) H3. At least thats what the guy told me. I'm not sure if this guy is legit so use it with care.
