you would not want to cheap on the wood if you sleep on it, ot has to hold you

 

There are a lot of different grades of plywood too. Some cheaper plywoodshave lotsa air voids inside and are not as strong. Some are water proofed which would be desireable.

 

I traded my Jeep in on my H3 so I could sleep in the back when I needed a fast camping fix. Without having to put the tent up yadda yadda yadda........and this modification was the perfect fix for the hump....without putting any new holes in the plastics.....
I am sure if anyone wants this I can make them one....!
I will be trying it out in the mountains this weekend....But worked well in the garage at home...HA !

Being 6'3" the bed will not work for me but the drawer is just what I want in the back of my H3.
