I didn't do the install, the local Hummer dealer did, and it is seamless as there are not wires to be seen. My dash kit is from Stuart from omedash, one of the best to deal with.

This is an awesome setup. May I ask where you purchased that camera unit that bolts on the outside of the vehicle? My Hummer dealer hadn't a clue where I can get such a unit! Thanks!

i have a backup/mirror combo camera - it runs as an independent product tho and can't be hooked up (as far as i know) to another screen.

Does anyone know what adapter you have to pick up?

I have the stock nav and would like to run a backup camera to it.

Unhappy navtools

I purchased a unit from navtools.com .... do not order from their site their charging 350 bucks....go to ebay where they are asking 250..and offer them 199 and they accept.

have it installed (kind of a pain..plug and play is only for the part where you connect their part to the radio) after that you got to figure out where to get 12v power/ground and where the parking brake wire is located in the dash.... I am still trying to figure this out and am close to calling it quits....

everything is installed (but don't have the hand brake wire attached..because I don't know where) and the display goes black when shifting in reverse...BUT no picture from the back up camera...

if anybody has info how to help please email me
