Here's a story of mine u guys can chime in on. I'm always looking to improve the my Hummer as anyone else on this forum is especially lighting. Well yesterday Ifinally installing my 3rd HID set(Headlights, Foglights & Lower Grille Lights) on my 3 with theintention ofblinding other motorist. I know I'm an @55. Anywayz, during last nights drive everyone around me was blocking their mirrors or moving them away which was kindathe result I was looking for but I almost felt kindabad andI ended upjust driving with just my fogs. I didn't even turn on the lower grille lights. They all use a 50w ballast, theheadlights and lower grille have 5000k bulbs to look whiteand the fogs have 3000k bulbs so they look yellow. Can't wait til someone wants to play the flashing game. Wish I had the roof mounted lightbar & lower foglight bar. Anyone else get the same reactions on the road or got something that didn't work the way you wanted it?

 

umm...huh?!?! I am one of many that have hid'son their 3 and very rarely do I blind people....bu tthen again I also adjusted the headlights down so that they wouldn't blind anyone. Puttin in HID's for the sole purpose of blinding is about as immature and dumb as a person can be. So you intentially want to blind and maybe kill a family just to get your jolly's? yea...your a winner.

argueing and calling a dumbass a dumbass isn't childish, without people like me and shorty stupid people would run this forum. on the other hand, intentionally installing hids to blind people is about as dumb an idea I have ever seen posted on these boards.

 

No, I don't get that reaction from other motorists. I leveled the front end, saw my lights were too high and blinding other motorists, and I adjusted my headlamps. I really am not interested in blinding other motorists so that they can't see, they can't drive safely and they want to flip me off. Maybe I'm being dramatic, but I don't want to be the biggest @ss on the road. Sounds like someone else on this thread already nominated himself for that.

What are you, Some 20 yr old that just got a Hummer and now you think your hot $hit? Guess what, ALOT of people own Hummers.
Blinding people isn't cool, it isn't funny, and all it does is give in to the stigma everyone already has about us-A$$HOLES!
HID's are cool because they do put off a cool light and you can see better. But they aren't made to go around trying to see who has the best "blinding factor". Good way to hurt someone.
Grow up, adjust your lights and enjoy your H3 for what it is.
