The damn seats and wheels must have taken for ever to weld up......
It aint a hummer, but I'll add it to my collection of oddities.
Thanks.

Mark, I looked at that Jeep for a long time, I can't imagine how long it took, they have wrenches, spark plugs, locks, cogs, gears you name it to make those wheels. I've seen some freaky rides but that Jeep was up there on the list.
I've been staring at those photos for the past ten minutes trying to pick out all the little bits that went into it.
Wonder if all the states are represented in those plates?
You have any details on that thing or is it just sitting there to make people go WTF?
You ever been to the "Art Car" show in Houston?
Check out this gallery: http://www.orangeshow.org/artcar_gallery/index.html
No idea about the one in Plano...that sounds a little far fetched, but they did do a Zebra print H3...<shivers> the pink/black/white cow one that we see was pretty clearly a do-it-yourself airbrush job..(not us)..
If you get some pics of that Plano Hummer post 'em up please...I gotta see this.....
Now here's a related story for you...
First off, let me say I'm gonna attribute this to urban legend. The story comes from
a guy at work regarding a friend's, uncle's, half cousin's boyfriendor some such ****....
You know the drill.
Seems a bank repo'ed a H2 with the most hideous paint job imaginable. Some sort
of advertisement for a BBQ chain or something (might have involved a pig).
This guy, learns of it through a conversation with a bank employee over coffee/lunch/beer.
Says what the hell, gets ahold of the appropriate person at the bank and offers 15 G's sight unseen.
Figured 15 plus the cost of a paint job and he would be good to go. To his amazement,
the bank accepted his offer and seemed grateful to have received such a sum for such
an ugly vehicle. Upon delivery, to his utter disbelief, the guy discovers that
said paint job was actually a vinyl wrap.
Spent a day peeling it off and found a nice black paint job underneath.
Yeah, right.....and I can buy mil-surplus Hummers @ auction for $75.00

Hey Mark, yea I know what ya mean about looking at the faux Jeep... I looked at it for a good long while but never saw a Tx plate or several other states for that matter.
As far as the fabrication of the wheels, I got no clue, there is so much crap in those tires it is crazy. It's just a tourist draw for this Hole In The Rock stop on the way to Moab. One heck of a job, would love to see a Hummer made up like that.
