Default ARB Snorkel?

anyone use it? i am looking into this possibility of procurring one for an alpha. any experience and pictures of it would be appreciated. i am trying to find pictures of it from the front etc.

There a few folks out with them; I myself am getting one.

Just keep in mind, your stock intake snorkel is good enough for 3ft of water; any deeper than there where you'd need a snorkel is dangerous territory because of the modules in the cab that aren't water-sealed which will fry under water.

I'm just getting the snorkel because I have this weird fetish with driving in insanely deep water, so it's pretty much my "oopsie" device...


plus they look sooooo badass on our H3's.

is there a problem putting them on the 5.3 V8 alpha's?

No not at all; but it's still only got the 3ft fording depth as the regular h3.

yepp that'll do pig, that'll do. i actually like the color matched one. never woulda thought about that, but i am afraid i would chip it up to easily.

btw thanks bud. guess i am a retard and didnt see those pics during my search

Excellent.

The snorkel really is nasty on these trucks, and lets people know that you actually use your truck for what its supposed to.

Good luck, and take pics when your finished. Just remember, no deeper than 3ft water unless you seal your modules!
