Default April Blizzard in MN, Not Prius Friendly...

Caught some pics yesterday of a Prius in front of me during our April blizzard - ended up with 8-9 inches, do you think they had a shovel in their little trunk?

Trunk!? That thing has a trunk!?? And here I was thinking that's where you put the AA batteries ... hehehehe ... I'm jealous .. I wouldn't mind seeing 8-10 inches of snow one last time before spring/summer kicks in .. was 80 here yesterday .. today with the windchill factored in they said upper 20's .. go figure! There's snow in the forecast for tonight and on Saturday ... hopefully they are wrong again and we get a ton of it :-)

maybe you should give up the hummer.[:'(] the supreme court says that US vehicles are a significant contributor to global warming. nice to see lawyers are now scientists as well.

Trouble with those cockimami Al Gore wannabes, is that this global warming BS has been going on long before HUMMERS and I dare say, LONG BEFORE Modern industrialization....But now they have vested interests in E85 (BTW which is cool for the farmers) and Hybrid BS cars foreign and domestic...Sure, Just like the Goddamn Ozone problem we supposidly caused with Refrigerants...I think Dupont came up with that BS to scare everyone into thinking they need to change out all the CFC refrigerants to this HCFC crap like (R134a), so they could charge everybody an arm and a leg to convert and to retool for the new juice..what a pretty profit they made off of THE OZONE HOLE therory..

how many people did your boy Dubbya put on the bench in this administration? you would have thought they'd have a more conservative bent to them and deny warming altogether. i usually dump a quart of 10W-50 in the tank on each fillup, just to get some extra ozone depleting exhaust out the back o' the bus. i figure if i'm gonna be held responsible for killing the planet, i may as well contribute . . . . [sm=badbadbad.gif]

oh, mark, you're welcome, i know how much you love driving through the slush and salt . . . . .

I don't think there's any doubt it's going on .. however, I think it's pretty arrogant to think that what, 130-150 years of industrialization is enough to screw up 6+ billion years .. it goes in cycles ... we're obviously seeing an upswing and our own modern society is probably a contributing factor .. but the root cause!? I think ol'Al has been sniffin' too much biodiesel here of late ...
