Made a little road trip to Ruidoso, NM this past week, what an awesome state, great weather!
Broke in the new Alphanicely at 1400 miles. Was surprised to see a ton of H3's out and about, more than I see in my area of Texas anyway.

By the way, averaged between 15-16 miles per gallon on that 1400 mile trip, so thats not bad at all with a V8 IMO.

Fell in love with Alto. Anyone live there?

Live just north in Colorado and travel to NM all the time. I totally agree New Mexico is a awesome state. Great Scenery and Great Food. What else can you ask for.l

yeah the drive through the mountains with the hummer is awesome especially goin to the ski resort ski apache

 

Ski Apache was closed so I could only get so far

But, I hit Alto and all over really, was fun! Didn't care too much for the tourist cities, but it is an awesome place.

Wait... I thought Hummbob was the only pirate on these forums! [:-]

 

I'm from El Paso, TX. We go to Ruidoso about 2-3 times a year. about a 1.5-2 hour drive. Love it out there!
