Anyone installed the GM chrome hood grille?

Foundone on eBay and was wondering if it is just a cover like the putco or you remove the black one... the part # is 12499628

it does look like mine.. i got it from the dealer
mine is a replacement piece
pop the black one out and pop the chrome one in

It looks awesome! How does it attach to the hood? Bolts, Screws or adhesive? Was it very expensive (If I may ask)?

its a clip in like some dash trims
just hit it with ur hand to knock it in

i think list on them through the dealer was around 200+ bucks

Is this one the chrome or is it the abs plastic? Either way it looks great.
