Default Anyone have a copy of the GM tech letter for head failures?

I am looking for a copy of GM notice that they have head issues. This would be a great tool to get our cars fixed.. I dont recall the actual name they call it TP notice or whatever. I know its not a recall per say but a letter showing GM knows about this could only help when going to a dealer with a bad head on your hummer..

Has this been posted? if so i cant find it in a search..

The "letter" you are talking about, essentially said that if you have a 2006 H3 with a S/N lower than ending in 287591, (your truck build date will be Nov. 06 or earlier), we extend your warranty as to the head.

The problem you now have is all those trucks are now outside that extended warranty period so the letter would be useless.

Every GM truck dealer knows about the TSB for the 06 Atlas heads. Search here for more info. Call GM customer service and give them your SN info and ask about coverage under their good will warranty program (they might cover some of the costs).
