Around 45-55 mph under light acceleration im feeling some torque converter shudder. It stops as soon as i give it more gas or less. I see that trans go makes a kit to fix this problem. Has anyone else felt this.

 

Does it make a type of sound? because on very light acceleration I always hear this weird sound. and when i press the gas more it goes away.

I've never had that issue before luckily.

 

Mine has always made a weird feeling when going from stop to go. I get one clunk( "one ping only vasily" sorry couldn't help the hunt for red October reference there.) Its always been there. before and after I upgraded my trans and torque converter. When I climbed under the deuce to try to locate it I find that the drive shaft has a small amount of play in it when you try to turn it. I blame my issue on that. rear end is fine, trans case fine so I don't really see any issues. I climbed under a new 2500hd a few months back and it has the same issue so I figured its normal.

 

Hey that was me 3 years ago Lol. my problem was the rear end gears. it was humming under light acceleration. it needed adjustment. and the clunk is the drive shaft. its normal wear and tear. you can probably replace the u-joints.
