Water intrusion into the wiper module was the reason for the recall. I would bet that is your problem.

The speedometers not working in winter time which has happened to about 6 or 7 of my H2's is a much more major problem, and wasnt addressed for years. I dont know how this wasnt a massive major recall issue as this is seriously dangerous. They finally issued a recall a year or two ago. I havnt had the wiper issue with any of my H2's

Default Hummer recall notice windshield wiper module

Any one have the VIN number sequence that covers this recall. I called my local Hummer dealersip and they said: there was no recall for my 2003 Hummer.

that circuit board will pull straight up and out...dont remember if there were any screws, but I had it out in 5 minutes.

If you **** isn't working...I bet there are carbon tracks (you can't miss them) on the underside of the board twards the front of the vehicle... Scrape those tracks off...I had like a small wirebrush tooth brush... That will eliminate the short on the circuit. One you get everything cleaned off, smear electrical grease all over everything... You can't use to much.

unless you completely smoked something on that board, you should be Good to go.

At the risk of stating the obvious, make that NON-conductive electrical grease.
