Chameleon, I actually haven't checked out that part of cockaponset... the section that I go wheelin in is more northern than that link. Its closer to middlesex community college and is in middletown, right off rte 9. I never realized how big cockaponset is, looking at your links its huge, but I doubt that its all connected by trails.

It happens to be the 2nd largest forest in CT.
Are your wheeling adventures more trails than fields?

Chameleon, yes... wheelin in fields isnt really wheelin IMO... you need trails and obstacles to over come, mud and rocks are mandatory lol...

White08H3 yeah its a cool place, even has an old car grave yard

I think I have some pics on my profile

DAGKANA, I just looked at your garage photo, you have a kick-azz H-3 there. The winch is real cool looking, neatly tucked away.
You are heavy duty, and ready for action, heck I have a urban taxi compared to your H3.
I'd like to start in some fields and work my way into some trails.

Chameleon, we can make a run to cockaponset and I can show you what your stock H3 is capable of, I won't take you on anything you don't feel comfortable doing... If you don't even wanna take yours I'll let you ride shotgun. Again I've already taken a few others into cockaponset one was a member with a brand spanking new H3T completely stock didn't even have a brush guard and he had a blast, absolutely no complaints! And no damage either lol

Hey Dan,
I still need to make my virgin run.
If the trails aren't too bad after tonights rain maybe we could get a group of CT guys together. I'm off from work until Jan 4th.

John sounds like a plan. We can go for just a couple of hours if need be, so no one will get the you went where all day treatment... However the playoff picture is pretty tight so Sunday is looking more lime football than wheelin... I'm gonna make a pass either way this Sunday I have to be in Middletown to help clean my brothers house that he's moving into with his girlfriend if everyone wants to go wheelin it would be an easy way out for me haha
