a short black antenna? Would like to hear which ones you recommend and which ones I should avoid. This stock antenna is too tall, driving me crazy!

Hey, Doc told you that you were out of questions for awhile!!!!!

I would probably recommend the solid billet one. You can find them on almost any accessory site. DO NOT get the antennax, the antenna come out of the base mount all the time. I have to constantly tap it back on.

I agree. The stock antenna is too tall. I think I am going to swap for a shorter antenna also.

My reception wasn't affected at all, it's great. Just the craftmanship of it sucks. Too bad, because I liked that it wasn't as thick as the full billet ones so it didn't "stick out" that much. IDK, maybe I just got a bad one.

I was thinking of getting the short billet one too, BUT being in the city, with all of the parking garages, I'd rather HIT (corrected) the stock antenna first.

Just something to think about

WHEN I'm not listening to XM I haven't had any problems with reception, even in the parking garages or between the buildings
