Default Another Reurning Hummer Owner

Hi, I'm Bigunit from Arizona. I've been a member here for a while but don't post much but now that my wife and I have added another H3 to our garage, I figured it would be a good idea to check-back in here and say hello and share pics of our new "baby" that we acquired/adopted yesterday.

It's a 2009 H3 Championship Edition. It only has 7,270 miles and it's in about as brand-new condition as they come. It has the V8, front & rear lockers, cast-iron diffs, leather, sunroof, OEM brushguard, headrest dvd's, full under carriage protection, nav, color-matched grill, CE hood decal and the CE red brake alipers and specially-tuned shocks. We are really lucky to have found this rig - it's like having a brand-new HUMMER all over again.

Default wheeled with one

Had a chance to wheel with one on Drummond this past August. Did everything and went every where. Here are a couple pics of it doing its thing. 1st pic is going up the right side of Marble Head and the second is a log that 4 H3's needed to be strapped over. Only 2 who made on their own was the CE and MTUH3.

Great looking rig Luis. If I had seen it first you wouldn't have gotten that one.

Default Update

Here's how this all started:

My wife and I decided that we wanted to get a third HUMMER - a low-mileage H3 Championship Edition (because the CE's are kind of hard to find and they are a true trail-ready rig right from the factory). A fellow HUMMER owner/buddy then sent me this message:

"Here is an 09 CE with only 7k miles......
http://www.skymotorcars.com/web/used...lvania/912934/ "

Thank you Corey, as without your timely message, we probably would have never seen this rig, much less locked it down before someone else did!

I immediately called the dealer and put a deposit on it so that we could give ourselves time get it checked out, paid for and transported to AZ. The dealer couldn't believe how many calls he had already received inquiring about the rig in the first hour since the ad had gone live and posted on Ebay but no one had yet pulled the trigger on it, so we did! After numerous, frustrating and maddening screw-ups, delays and excuses from Chase Bank in getting the money to the dealer, the most time-consuming part of the transaction was lining up a reputable auto transport from PA to AZ. We finally decided on "Diesel Express Car Transport" (if anyone here needs an honest, dependable, on-time and super-careful/responsible auto transport, you can contact Gabriel, the owner at dieselexpress08@yahoo.com or (602) 725-1612). Thank you Gabriel!

Gabrielle kept in constant cell contact with us from the time he left PA up to the time he arrived in Tucson last night & right on his estimated time. So, here are pics (sorry for the crappy pics but it was really dark - daylight pics to follow!).

Here's a pic of the CE still on the transport

Here it is coming off the transport:

Pretty hard to believe but this rig is indeed in showroom mint condition - it's a virgin! We really lucked out. So, now that the CE is home, things are just getting started - we need to figure out what the first mod ought to be (the nerfs will be the first to go) & what future mods to put on the list. Let the fun begin!
