Default Another coolant changing question (08/09)

I was about to change my coolant today & found out that I really need a siphon, so I held off.

I decided to take another look & see if there's a petcock or not. If any of you 2008/2009 H2 owners have an answer, let me know!

Here's the radiator hose on the passenger side:

Here's what looks to almost be a nipple for a drainage tube, but I don't see any petcock. This is on the driver's side:

Guess I'm just stuck w/ the hose?
Seems really weird to me GM would go backwards. I know the 03/04s at the very least had a petcock. I think 05-07 did as well.

When i converted mine to Evans Waterless Coolant, i just removed the lower rad hose that you showed in the pictures and let it drain there. Don't forget to open the reservoir cap after you remove the lower rad hose. I also disconnected the heater hoses and blow compressed air.
