I really don't know either, he is all about computer security and stuff though. I'm going to check, he may be talking about a way to ban the IP itself so that they can't just keep coming back or something. Not sure. Will clarify for you once I find out

I didn't know anything about it either but jump on the internet and read what I posted above. Sounded like someone was trying to use the site server but could be something else. Hopefully nothing. That is what I get for staying up last night.

 

Hey guy's, bittorrent is a P2P, OK for you guys peer to peer software, mean you share files, software, movies, ****!!!and so on, I'm sure Hummbob is on there, you upload files to there sever and it lets you download files. thats all it is!!!

It was him, I called and told my wife to have him call me when he got home. He tried to play it off and say it wasn't him, I asked just how old and stupid does he really think that I am. (Probably shouldn't have asked that one )

Anyway, kind of turned into a slight argument. He started by saying that he was just trying to get closer to me (please) and didn't get why we all flipped out and deleted his post. I went with it though and tried to tell him that part of the problem was that you don't sign onto a Hummer Forums and 1. Not introduce yourself 2. Just start posting about computer crap. That would be like me going to his site and just jumping in and start talking about Horsepower or or the Air Intake I just put on. He didn't get it and started arguing with me about it and I'm wrong apparently.

No problem Rich. If it hadn't been for the punk threatening to have his computer geek friends screw with the site a few days earlierI wouldn't have worried about it. If the kid is interested at all in Hummers let him have his own name and account here. Who knows maybe he will want to go off roading with you.

 

I kinda thought it was going to lead to an arguement for you...that's why I was so careful in checking the ip addy's and everything...I must of spent a good hour on it, talking to different people before I posted my findings. Hope things come back to normal for ya...3hummers is right...givehim his own account and let him join in if you want...

one thing that confused me though....he had ONE post....just one....but yet his post number says 5? kinda odd ain't it?!?!?!
