Default alternatives to spare tire

I have 09 H3, looking to remove the spare tire and put something else to replace it. Been looking around the net, but haven't seen anything. Any leads.

how bout a propeller?? no?
Jk. I'd go with the new hard plastic tire cover that swings open... I've seen them on a few new h3's looks pretty dope. As far as removing it goes... what happens if you get a flat? Do you plan on relocating the spare on your h3?

Just a word of warning- if you have 35 inch tires, you must use a 35 inch spare. Or plan on getting it towed when you have a flat. Because the H3 is all wheel drive, the tires must be the same size or you could risk damaging the drive train. Also, the stabilitrak won't work with three matched tires and one smaller spare. I've seen a guy put different sized tires on a silverado w/ stabilitrak (smaller in front)-it wouldn't drive down the road without constantly applying brake to the smaller tires. Because they are smaller and rotating faster, stabilitrak thinks they are slipping and will apply brake.

Keep the spare
It beats walking when you get a flat

I have seen pics that GOBI offers a solid plate that is designed to bolt where the spare tire mount is.

Where can I get this GOBI plate? How does it look once installed?

I ended up getting all 5 35" tires but still wonder what it would look like without the spare, as for getting a flat well I do a lot of city driving so Im not to concerned about it but Ill bring the spare when I go Wheelin or to another city...

Ive got mine off now, I only have 4 315/75/16 Terra Grapplers. Im gonna get another, but the look isn't that bad... makes my rig even more unique now I was even thinking about using the bolt holes for something else... Its a surprise for now, but I also might use it or the location to mount my license plate and get a thorparts bumper
