Default Alpha o2 simulators??

im getting the p0420 code and tried the spark plug non foulers but the code still comes back with one and i get a p013b with 2 foulers.

anyone know where i could get a plug and play o2 simulator

Now that we have your thread in the correct section, might want to re-think your approach. A P0420 can indicate more serious stuff going on than just using a cheap fake out to try to resolve it.

I would have it scanned and see what is going on and properly diagnose what the condition is before ignoring that potential problem. If it is indeed an 02 sensor, simple fix. Might need a new Cat. Could be worse. If it is just a glitch, your idea may be OK.

This Mini Cat O2 Sensor CEL FIX Works On The Same Principal as Your Larger Catalytic Converter...
Your Noxious Exhaust Gases are Oxidated and Converted By Passing Thru a Three Way Ceramic HoneyComb Element
Coated with Platinum, Rhodium and Palladium. The Noxious Exhaust Gases React Within the HoneyComb
and are Converted Into Carbon Dioxide and Water, It also Converts the the Nitogen Oxides back into Nitrogen and Oxygen.

99.9% of the time P0420 and P0430 CEL Error Codes Are Associated Only With The Post (rear) O2 Sensor in modified exhaust systems (in or after the cat). This sensor is also known as the 'Heated Sensor Circuit' or 'Bank 1 sensor 2'.




With a Modified Exhaust System, the Post Cat Sensor receives A Higher Exhaust Temperature and A Higher Exhaust Flow Unburn Rate than Stock Exhaust Systems. This causes the ECU to read that the exhaust system is out of balance. When the ECU sees that the system is out of balance it throw's a code and drops into 'limp mode' (safe mode). i monitored the voltage of both downstream o2's and bank 1 is all wonky for sure. i ordered a new o2 to see if that fixes the issue. i just dont see how one cat could get messed up and the other is fine. but who knows. ill let you know the out come. if i feel like it after work ill swap the o2's and see if the problem follows the bank 1 sensor. should have done that before ordering the sensor but it was only 15 bucks.

Got the new o2 yesterday and installed it this am. Drove about 400 miles today and no code.
