I own a 1998 H1 nothing can stand in my way I love it but is the 2006 H1 Alpha that much better than the rest I know its a 6.6 Duramax but is that it?? Is it over-rated or am I missing some info??

 

The Alpha has about 40% more horsepower, 25% more torque, 2" more body clearance, front and rear factory lockers, 12.1k frame and half shafts versus the 10.3k of the other years, much beefier steering components, an updated interior, etc so yes there is quite a bit of difference. That said I can put my 92 6.2 liter diesel with 3 speed tranny non-locked truck almost anywhere the Alpha would go...almost.
