Air in Power steering fluid
Our recently purchased H3 makes a power steering noise sometimes upon cold morning starts. So first thing I did was check the fluid ( it was fine), than checked for any signs of a leak, everything bone dry.
Did notice the fluid was foaming as if had air in it, but again found no leaks so not sure how it would continually get air in the system.
Any thought greatly appreciated

Hello fellow newbie
Maybe a new steering rack was installed prior to you purchasing the vehicle and air got in the system. When I changed my steering rack on my GMC Yukon, I turned the wheels back and forth several times with the hoses off and kept adding fluid. Similar to bleeding brakes. Also, sometimes you develop a small leak and the dust boots retain the fluid until they eventually crack. If your fluid level in consistent you probably just have air in the system.

Jack the front off the ground. With the motor OFF and the cap OFF turn left and right to full lock 8 times. Then drop the truck , cap it and repeat with the motor running. That should burp out the air.
Thanks guys, will give that a shot.
