Default air bag module

I have a 09 h3t and heard that the air bag control module is under the center console, is that where it is and if it is how do you remove the center console?

My I first ask why you need to access the air bag module?

If you are just getting an occasional air bag fault light, you can clear the BCM by placing the vehicle in Neutral, engine running, put one foot on the brake and hold it there, push the Emergency brake on with the other foot and release it, repeat the E brake and release 5 times fairly quickly. If the light stays off, it was a glitch. Happens to mine a few times a year.

It was involved in a front end accident that deployed the driver airbag
