Default Advice before buying

Hi, I am looking for some advice from HUMMER owners before I purchase one. I have seen alot of used HUMMERs that I like. they vary from year to mileage. I am just trying to find out what is considered high mileage for this vehicle... i have seen a bunch of 05's and 06's that vary between 40-65k miles, and the prices are like 24-29k. Also, does anyone know a good place to buy from? I am in the northwest region of the U.S.

Thanks!

Get one with the features you want and the lowest mileage you can afford. Also Hummer dealers offer Certified used Hummers with great factory warranties.

what would be high mileage for an 07ish? i see alot of 03's have the majority of the problems... i think thats when they first came out though. Also, what kind of warrantty does GM cover, is it the 100k mike? and is it still even covered? not sure with this whole chinese takover thing.

50,000 miles or less is good. Even though these trucks should be able to do 200k miles the value drops of considerably past 60k miles just like it does on all luxury vehicles.

You know I have been watching pricing on H2's here in NC and it seems that they bottom to 20 grand when they hit 100,000 miles then hold that like til 150,000. At that point it drops only to $15,000.

Thats just what I have noticed on the retail end.

I am still on the quest to find the highest mileage H2 out there.
The latest one I found was one here in NC with 168,000 miles and stll running like a champ.

I truly want to know how many miles that 6.0 motor will run until it is considered "worn out."

You can't always go by mileage. If you get a truck with 50,000 miles on it but it's been driven off road a lot, I would stay away from it. Off road miles are tough on a truck. Now if you got a truck that has only been driven on the highway with 100,000 miles, I would by that one because highway miles are a lot easier than off road miles. Now it all depends a lot on the condition of the truck too. All that I'm saying is don't let mileage fool you.

well I am looking for the highest mileage H2 out there with highway miles.
I have been looking at 2500 chevys with the 6.0 motor and I see some in the mid 200's. I saw one with 268,000 miles on it for sale. I want to know how long that motor will run highway and town miles.
