I am going to purchase a H3 this week "Used" How can I identifiy if the H3 has the Aventure Package. Does the VIN # state this info? Does the H3 have a sticker some where on the body that say's "Adventure Package"? Please HELP!!!!

And then you'll have all the FWD buttons available too.

 

There should be a lable - in my vette it was in the glove box that lists the build codes - the code for the Adventure package is "1SB"!

Look for the rear locker button on the dash with the other buttons.. If it's the ADV package it will have two small buttons on theright side ofthe air bag indicator.. One is the stability control button the other is the rear locker.. The Base and Lux will only have the stability control button...

 

I sure hope I understand. Are you guy's telling me that the Adventure Package is the only H3 that has a rear locker option. Please help!

 

Yes that is a true statement..

However you can order as an option the OFF ROAD PACKAGE for say a LUX model

 

Find out if it has had the cylinder head replaced before you buy it.

 

insist on or buy an extended warrenty.....too many small bugs...and the head issue to deal with with no warrenty.

 

Thanks for the info. Just one more question. If I find a LUX package with the off road package will it have the low gear tranfer case "4 to 1"?
