AC issues
I swear this trucks AC has always been something that makes me go WTF all the time. So maybe someone can help me
It is currently 68 outside.
I have my AC on and I have a temp gauge in the vent. I am noticing it is cycling as follows
2-3 minutes it will show 40 degrees,
Then it cycles to 50 degrees for about 1-2 minutes,
Then it goes to 60 degrees for about 2-3 minutes
(I could be mistaken about the time, but you get the idea I hope)
Also the ac is set at 60 degrees with the air recirc on and the fan set at 3 bars.
Any thing you can think?????

From what I've read that sensor on the dash below the mirror (the little bubble) is a light AND temp or radiation sensor so it would make a difference if you're sitting in the sun or the shade. It's trying to be smart about what you really want for temp settings.

If the cabin temp is above 60 degrees then it will blow cooler air(40) for eg and as the cabin begins to cool it changes the output temp accordingly until proper cabin temp is achieved. The inside air temp sensor is actually located above your head to the left. Many people thinks its a microphone but its not. The hvac vent temp will constantly vary to maintain set temp according to that sensor.
