Hi! I have a problem with ABS on my Hummer H3, 2008. I live in Ukraine
and there is no Hummer service, but we have GM. So I was on a routine
check and they wanted to update software. Everything was ok, they updated most of models but when it went to
the ABS progress line reached 56%, started from the very beginning
twice, and then turned off. They tried several time, but always result
was the same. So, now I don't have ABS, only brakes. They told
me that only reason for this failure is that there were some
troubles on GM server and during download connection was terminated
and now ABS control module is locked and it does not have any software. So I need to buy a new ABS control module, but they
can not guarantee that the same situation will not happen again. I contacted GM Hummer department but they said Ukraine is not covered by their guarantee.
Does anybody experienced same problem with ABS control module? Could it be re-programmed or I should order a new one?
