well on xmas day my check engine light came on so i took it to my shop and scanned it and the code was random misfire so i cleared the code and yesterday i was letting my h3 warm up and the light came back on and the code was misfire cylinder #3 so i guess tommorrow i will call the dealer and see what happens............ i sure hope they do not just clear the code like i did and tell me to come back if it comes on again because i have to travell 135 km to get to the dealer.

oh ya its a 2006 i know i will be asked the serial number by some of you and i will check what it is later today

 

I can almost guarantee you that it's a bad head.....random misfires and other cylinder misfire codes are the #1 symptom....sorry to hear bro.

 

ya i know at least it is happening before the warranty runs out ..............even still it does not change my mind about loving my h3 because i new about this problem before i bought one.

 

on the bright side, being that your warrenty is close to running out you can probably get a nice added warrenty onto the truck...gm has been pretty good with bumping up the warrenties...Good luck!!

I know it's a different vehicle, but that is what was wrong with my 01 Ram 1500 when it got a misfire code.

 

finally got my h3 in yesterday and they said is was the head so its on order probably will get it in in a week the dealer in saskatoon is treating me great

 

r they going to extend your warrenty? Call GM corporate and get that thing extended!!
