Whats the differance of 6.5 and 6.6 Duramax engine? Are they that much better??

 

6.5 TD gives you 195hp and 430#s torque and was mated to a 4L80E tranny
The 6.6 Duramax gives you 300hp and 520#s torque and is mated to a 5 speed Allison tranny

 

Can you give a sof guestimate of how much a conversion would cost?

 

Done right by one of the few reputable shops they start at about 35K.. You need the motor, tranny, harnesses, electronics, half shafts, hubs, frame rails, 2" body lift, upgraded brakes...it is a big job if done right. Talk to Ryan at Predator Motorsports.
