Has anybody out there installed a 2WD/4WD Xfer case on their H2? Reading the different forums, any problems with the ECU/brainbox that would need addressing. Would like to do the Duramax/Allison tranny + 4WD transfer case swap, but the funds won't allow it. Something about the 6.0L computer having conflicts that is keeping me from making the decision to try the 2WD/4WD Xfer case swap. Thanks, Joe

 

I don't want a Duramax conversion but I would like to go to a 2wd system. Keep us posted on your findings.

 

You'll find that working out the electrical/ECU issues are going to be way more difficult than the mechanical install.
