My wife actually was on their site yesterday. What is all this about a tax write-off on the H2? She said people on this site said there is a $10,000 tax write-off on the H2. If there is, why?

By no means am I an accountant, but if you use it and declare it as a company vehicle you can depreciate its value on your taxes for several years. If you spend $50K to purchase it, you can depreciate $10K per year for 5 years. This make your taxes the equvilant of earning $10K less then what you did, not including any other itemized deductions you have.
