I'm interested if dr.drew2 doesn't take them...

 

Might want to throw them on eBay, they sell high there. $600-800+ for a set of four. Some on there now and there asking $1200

 

And some other asshat asking $1,400. I mean lets get real. U-steps do pull a premium but those prices are a joke. When I was looking around for mine when I first bought my rig I wouldn't pay more than $100 a piece. I have 6 steps total that I paid less than that price.


Oddly enough those people who keep posting them use the same stock picture also, scam or not?


Even I would pay a little more for these steps and I am kind of interested in them also but not $200+ each.

 

Wow! I was planning to buy a set of 4 this spring when I take the nerf bars off. Somehow in my mind I was expecting around $50 each. At $600+++ for a set of 4 I'll probably try to find some universal or knock-offs.

 

You won't find a set for $50 each and if you did they would be gone the second they were posted. Like I mentioned my general rule was $100/step before shipping. Shipping is a bear also since the things are so heavy, especially 4 of them.


Now I'm not crapping on the OP's thread or anything. He can ask whatever he wants for them. He may get $600+ for the set if someone wants them bad enough.

 

Ya, clearly $50 each for used U-steps = me living in a fantasy world. I'm all for the OP getting market value, I'll just be looking for a cheaper option. When I pull off my nerf bars I'll have to see how they are attached and see if I can find a universal step that will fit. Quick release would be really nice though.

 

Personally not a good idea to keep U-steps with the quick off ****. Heard too many stories of the steps being stolen because they are easy off. I used Grade 8 bolts on mine and slathered everything with red Loctite just to be safe. I went through too much BS to finally get some steps to let some jerk steal them!

 

If you're interested splitting them up, shoot me a PM with what you want for one. I busted one of mine yesterday. Then about fell on my *** when I went to get out of the truck and there was no step there. lol
