did he have any that needed love?
i bought some that needed love from him and though I agree I paid too much for them, it was a exactly what he described and since others have bought from him and is known....
Given, i also got impatient and decided it is worth the extra money.... why i dont know since i havent fixed them or mounted them yet.... oh well

I have 3 single U steps I will be putting up for sale. $225 each or $600 for all 3 plus shipping of $25. If anyone is interested text me at 347-452-9938. I have 2 LE steps going up for sale for $275 each free shipping. I have no room on these. I’m barely making money believe me. Sometimes i don’t make money on a listing but I get good advertisement and good ratings via word of mouth.

I just removed my rock rails with 4 U-steps that are in excellent condition. I would like to sell them if I can figure out how to get them off the rails......Not really seeing how to get them off. Are the three pins removable?
Once the black bolt handles (or just bolts if replaced) are unscrewed they just slide out. The pins are cast into the steps and not removable. Probably just galvanic corrosion (corrosion between two different metals) holding them to the rails. Might try to give them a spray of some liquid wrench and let the sit a day and might even have to GENTLY try knocking them loose. Be careful though - I've seen the aluminum casting broken on one before and they are not nearly as valuable if broken.

If you still have the ***** on them, and they have been in a LONG time..... there is a high chance that same galvanic corrosion has the threads seized up in the aluminum steps and you might break a **** trying to get them off. I've seen a number of sets for sale over the past couple of years where a bolt is broken off in one... With care a broken off bolt can be removed without damaging anything (other than the bolt).
