Do you still give advice on this problem? Only the right half of my 3rd brake light assembly led lights up. Thought it was broken so bought a new one and the problems persists and even aft I also bought a new brake light switch too. So according to your post how would I know if it was the white connector before bypassing it?

 

Not to dig up an old thread, but I just bought a brand new 3rd light for my 2007 H3

 

There is only one + and one - wire plugged into the unit; so if you bought a new one and only half of it lights up, then the unit you bought is defective.
