Default 35" requirements

what are the top 3 things you need to do to your truck to run 35s? i am talking about special shocks or beefier hardware, anything that might help. I have 35 inch tires with the 2' leveling kit and am looking at getting the bilstein cognitos, but after that what else will help keep the truck from falling apart?

You've got it covered. I don't think the shock or leveling are required but they help. Once you get the shocks the only thing you need is the $1200+ to buy the five tires.

You'll need to get an alignment

i have the tires and rims already, i did the alignment, i am just wondering what else is needed to make it as strong or stronger than stock? i have read about guys busting cv joints after a trip in the woods, would anything else prevent such damage? []

The larger tires will place more of a strain on your Cv joints and other components but if you drive properly and don't abuse the accelerator you should be fine.
