Does anyone know if this body lift will fit the h3. I know the canyon and h3s are a lot a like. I'm looking to add a 3" body lift. A local shop is going to relocate my bumpers so body lines matchup. I already have the Rancho 4" lift Performance Accessories 3in Body Lift Kit for 2008 Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon [BL10223] | Rough Country Suspension Systems

 

First of all, H3's and Canyon's are NOT that alike. It's urban myth.
H3's and Colorado/Canyons share only about 10% of GM parts.

I have no idea if that 3" body lift will work on an H3 but I have done a 1" body lift and that maxed out the brake lines and a few electrical cables, so I'm guessing that a 3" lift will require major relocating and/or lengthening of a lot of things.
I'm not sure if that kit has anything that would help in that regard.

 

Thanks for the info. Looks like daystar 1" lift it might be. I already installed Rancho 4" lift Lao 2" torsion keys and 2" jeep lift shackles in rear. I have the ranch shocks but there not long enough. I got to look into a longer shock any suggestions. Nothing like info from people that have been there and tryed it

 

Ask about shocks and you'll get a dozen different answers.
Some people want a smooth carlike ride others want a stiff truck ride.

For shocks, I like Bilstein. Rancho's are too soft for me.
I prefer a stiffer ride.

 

As bunger said. Shocks are up for debate depending on the ride you like.
