Hey team.
I see lots of info on tyre rubbing etc, but not much info on the actual offset people are running. It looks like factory 16" standard offset is +38 is that agreed.
I had 315x75 16" offset -44. This was nearly 3.5" outside my guards and therefore illegal on road in New Zealand. It looks great but unfortunately not allowed. I now plan want to run 20x9.5 with an offset of +30 to +45 has anyone got that set up with 33" tyres. My tyre guy wants to put on +15 and I'm pretty sure this will still be outside my guards by at least 1".
Would the higher offset mean the tyres will rub on the inside at full lock. Cheers for any help.
1 inch can be covered buy the larger Russian Guy fiberglass H3 flares...
I do not know if your "Bro-Truck Rimz" will rub them or not. https://www.ebay.com/i/323293679897?chn=ps
As said earlier, stock H3 has +38 offset. Running +35 to +45 will give you from stock looking setup (+35) to tires that are deeper inside the wheel wells (+45), I wouldnt recommend the +45 as you will end up rubbing at full lock since the tires are closer to the inside of the truck.
I run +10 offset on the front of my wheels and with 315s the face of the tire is flush with the surface of the oem fender flares (what you have). Depending on what 33s you get your tires may stick in/out a few mms
