I purcahsed a 2010 H3T without the OEM tow package. I purchased the CURT Class III hitch product number 13007 with connector 55384 electric wiring. The hitch went on without any problems. Hooking up the wiring has been a different story. I can't find where the connector plugs in under the truck. The directions states 5 min job. My question since my H3T did not come with OEM Tow Package would that mean I dont have the connector to plug into under my truck? Anybody else have this problem?

I think the wires are there but no type of conector, search around I know I've seen other posts that explain exactly where the wire harness is located.

 

Hey Waldo, I had the same problem. I have a 09 H3T. no OEM trailer package. Got the hitch on.. No problem but the harness was a small nightmare. there is no plug in to attach aftermarket harness. I had to have mine hardwired in. Go to a camper dealership and they will take care of you. I went to U-haul first and they cobbled one on and had to have it stripped out and redone. A good camper dealer will do a good job for you. Hope this helps,,,,

 

i had the same problem. my dad has done this type of wiring a lot and he still had problems. the kit we got from uhaul only let us wire in turn signals or brake lights but not both. kind of a hassle but im only hauling seadoos so it isnt a big deal.
