That is a Championship Edition commonly the most desired of all the H3's.

does the alpha not have a button on the dash to disengage traction control? I only see buttons for the lockers in this truck.

What is so desirable about this one over an alpha?

To Disengage traction control it's a small little button next to the 12 volt plug

More limited production #s. Has red painted calipers, special color, painted grille, hood decal, red painted shocks &.you could get cloth seats. Leather, chrome package & sunroof where extra.
Other than that it is the same as an Alpha OffRoad.

Default Championship edition

Yes it is a CE. It will have the 4494 transfer case (4:1). Someone has exchanged the original rocker protection for the chrome steps. Looks great and good luck!

Best production numbers I could get from my dealer: 500 for US market and 250 for export. My build sheet has a code SHV - handling charge shreveport asm to SPECIALTY VEHICLE ENGINEERING AMERICA. I assume this code would be on all CE's.

Cool

Looks nice but it would even look better in that mud your Avalanche was in. Keep in mind, if you've never owned an H3 before it will be quite different than the Chevy. Spend some time on this forum and read up on some of the issues many of the members have encountered and solved. There are numerous little things that may need attention from time to time so they don't become big issues.

Forgot to mention, I think you will like the sturdy protection for transmission and transfer case. They are really pretty tough..........you should see the scrapes on mine!
