I apologize if this is old news, but I came across the fuel mileage estimates for the new H3 Alpha......16 MPG Highway and 13 MPG City. The new V8 will not be utilizing the fuel management system that other GM vehicles with 5.3L V8s have.

Yeah, just remember, too, that those are 2008 numbers, which are on a new standard and will be lower than comparable 2007 ones. Hopefully, when is says 13/16, that's what you'll actually get now. If I could stay at 16/17, which is what I'm averaging now, I'd do the Alpha in a second.
