If you can flip your throttle body plate open then you've got a problem. It is electronic so it should not move. And no, you cannot clean the TB properly unless you take it off. So you are saying that you can move your tb plate?

Every TB I have cleaned I have been able to move the butterfly to clean around it.

Me too. I can move the butterfly against some spring pressure and clean both sides. Just can't clean the whole TB as effectively as when I take it all the way off.

TAINTER, I have no idea why I wrote that except I had just gotten back from a night out of a little partying. I don't know what the heck I was saying. I don't remember too well. lol. Maybe I thought he meant flip it all the way around or something. who knows. Anyway, sorry about that.

But yes, you should take it completely off to clean it properly. You cannot clean it like it should be cleaned with it on the vehicle. F1ipx, that is a good video and that is the proper way to do it.

He said it was 320 hp, and modded, so it could be possible.

320whp would be close to 380 crank HP, and over 400lbft to the wheels but the dyno pulls were done on stock Cam, Since then there's been an addition of a mild cam and a liquid intercooler with FMHE. I ran a 12.3 @109 just missed my 110 sticker if I had to guess I'm in the 365 whp range as it currently sits
