Dyno test reads only 7 more HP. I wonder if anyone has one installed yet and sees any better/worse?

See this thread PreProduction K&N Intake for 07s

I believe a K&N filter itself will get you 7-8hp and is much cheaper. From the looks of your link from K&N, the 07 leaves the resonator box on, I thought they would take that off like the 06 kits????

Here's the production version, I just checked out the unit from the email K&N sent me, here's a pic:

Notice the smaller coned filter on the exhaust return which is unique to the 07. I wonder if it still uses the resonator box???? Looks long enough not to.. If it does use the resonator box unlike the 06 models, perhaps that's why the HP gains are a little weak.

The new part # is 77-3065KP, not sure on the price as K&N hasn't posted one. I'm sure it's close to $300 or better.

If you look at the pics in my link PreProduction K&N Intake for 07s, the resonator box is still on??? I thought that would be off just as in the 06 set up??? I agree with you HD, leaving the box in the system limits the power gain?
