Hmmm, here are a few more. I think the 77 Serires are a little longer than the plastic version and goes a little deeper into the corner of the engine compartment?

I haven't compared side to side (yet) an '06 and my '07, but they look exactly the same to me in the pictures I've located on-line. Everyone knows GM wouldn't spend money to re-design something if it didn't need it. I am leaning toward the plastic over the chrome, but either way I am going to wrap it with some high temp exhaust wrap I have leftover from some 2-stroke expansion chambers I wrapped years ago. It'll have that industrial look I love so much... I might even use some safety wire too (I love safety wire!).

They are different.....reponse from Volant Tech support:

"If you have the 3.7L the kit will not fit due to the change in the MAF we are currently under going testing with our new air duct."

Too bad, I had a good deal on this kit!

Does the engine run any different? Rough idle, etc.

I am interested in adding on eof these bad boys.

I have uesed them on my Turbo cars that I had in the past.

I received an E-mail from K&N stating that they were different also. I guess with the additional displacement of the 3.7 maybe they upped the mass air flow sensor size a few mm. It's probably better that I can't start fiddling with the H3 right now anyway... I just put some performance stuff on my WRX and it's running a little crappy right now. So I should be messing with it instead. The H3 just turned 1000 miles today, and that the perfect time to start changing stuff, right?
