I am removing the factory radio from my 2006 hummer h3 and I can't figure out how to unplug the antenna ... at least I think it's the antenna. I have removed radios from other vehicles and to unplug the antenna you just pulled on this cable and it just pulled out ... but I can't get this one unplugged ... is there a trick to unplugging this antenna? I need help!

You should be able to just pull on the antenna cable and remove it. I recently added a bluetooth capability to my beast and had to remove the antenna cable for clearance while working.

 

I pulled pretty hard and it didn't pull out ... Maybe I just didn't pull the cable hard enough ... are you sure it should just pull out?

 

The radio antenna wire is a coaxial cable with a silver colored male prong on the end.
The actual cable jacket is black. If this is what you are dealing with, then yes, you just pull straight out.
If the connector is square green and the wire is small then that is the GPS antenna and it has a clip to release first
