2006 H3 For Sale
Selling my 2006 H3, no longer need a third car in the driveway. Truck has not been off road and is in real nice shape for it's age. I also have a set of mud tires on factory rims that I used this past winter that are still like new.
All of the Gremlins have been worked out, head was replaced, PCM replaced last fall, just replaced front wheel bears, rotors and pads. The drive shaft(s) u-joints were all just replaced. Located in Rochester, NY and the price is negotiable. $17,000.

I had a grinding noise that I noticed (two actually) so we pulled the rear driveshaft and found the rear u-joint bearing needles like dust! While I had it apart replaced both on the rear shaft and one on the front shaft. A couple of days later I noticed I still had the other intermitten grinding noise coming from the left front, checked for slop in the wheel and yup, tons of play. I had a hell of a time getting that hub out and the passenger side corrosion fused it to the knuckle. Just so you know, the price of the hub from the dealer, $400 each!! Timkens, brand new in the box from Rock Auto, $150 each. I did both sides because it only made sense, I also replaced rotors and pads while I had it apart. This truck has NEVER been off-road!! It had the head replaced at 17,000 miles, the ECM at 40,000 miles, the camshaft actuator sensor at 42,000. I love this truck but I personally think the quality is typical GM. I love the truck but it really has been a bummer! I only drive it back and forth to work, about 15 miles a day and pull my sleds in the winter.
