2006 H3 remote problem

Angry 2006 H3 remote problem

Dear all H3 owner:
I have problem with stock remote, 2 days ago i use stock remote to open the door and all suddenly not working. I thought that was batteries problem and change it already. Still milfunction. Now i can only lock by key manually. In fact, i visit local garage and mention is one of my door lock have issue but they can't address exact problem due to HK don't have much H3 which lack behind technician. I also bought a set of alarm system would like to by pass that. But alarm technician mention need to fix the stock remote then can work. Is it true? Any one can teach me how to solve this issue? Please help. I have 2006 H3. Thank a million

You will need to take the vehicle to a GM dealer and have the remotes reprogrammed.

Are dealers the only ones who can program H3 remotes or can you program one yourself like on a Chevy Silverado? Always been curious!

Tech 2 scan tool required. Just programmed an extra fob for myself at work (2009 H3).
